Llewellyn's 2010 Witches' Calendar Review

Llewellyn's 2010 Witches' Calendar [Calendar]This is a nice wall calendar that I bought because I stumbled upon it after an Amazon search and became curious about the subject of witches and wicca, about which I know nothing. This was probably not the place to start for basic info, but the calendar is interesting anyway. Each month page has a scratch art picture, an essay about seasonal related subjects (for example giving thanks for the November page, the uses of fruit for June, egg lore in March), and of course the lower half of each page has date squares. This is where I take off one star, as each square measures about 1.5 by 2 inches and so full of notations that there is limited room to write your own appointments and reminders. The information not only notes standard holidays but historical notes about witch/pagan events, phases of the moon, symbols of the zodiac, and for some reason each day has a color assigned to it.Again, lots of info, little space.Otherwise I am pleased with this product and will buy another to send to my sister.
